Web research is context-only. ESPN roster status and explicitly licensed structured feeds remain the model inputs.
Value formula
How player value is blended
The base value uses only connected evidence. Injury duration scales player value and category contribution after the weighted blend; dated role reports make smaller adjustments. Team strategy is applied separately, so a punted category cannot inflate a trade recommendation.
Production boundary
How connections are handled
- Private ESPN requests pass through a stateless, rate-limited relay.
- Projection and news feeds enter through one versioned, normalized endpoint.
- RotoWire data is accepted only when the endpoint marks it as licensed.
- Firecrawl checks at most 12 relevant players per refresh: active injuries, watchlist players, open trade scenarios, and current trade targets.
- Firecrawl web reports are cited context; they never change model value.
- Every provider record carries an update time, confidence, and provenance.
The imported league snapshot stays on your device. The evidence service receives league metadata plus details for at most 12 relevant players. Saved notes come from the server cache; private ESPN session values are never sent to it or stored.
